I'm Henrik Bernström and I run Bernie Solutions AB. For 20 years I was a consultant at Devoteam, formerly Jayway, working mostly on frontends for IKEA, Bombardier/Alstom and HMS, among others. Since this summer I've also been building my own products, and three of them are in production today.
Available now. Hybrid 2–3 days a week in Gothenburg, or remote from anywhere in the world.
Two ways to work with me
As a consultant in your team
Usually on the frontend: the interface, the components and how it feels to use. I've also been a Group Lead and consultant manager, so I know how a team works when things go well and when they don't.
A solution I build for you
A well-defined need, like an internal tool, a booking service or an integration with another system. I take it from the first sketch to production, much as I've done with my own products.
What I work in now: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vue, Supabase and Postgres. These days Claude Code writes much of my code. I decide the architecture, write the tests and read every change before it ships.
